Pharmacy Act,1948 provides for the constitution of a Central Council (Pharmacy Council of India) under section 3 of the chapter 1 by the Central government.The Council consists of following members.
A diploma/degree in pharmacy,or pharmaceutical chemistry or a chemist and druggist diploma of an Indian University, or a government or a prescribed qualification granted by an authority outside India, or
