The Qualifications required for entry on first register

“Hi visitors” Today we know that how much the pharmacy has grown up and the drug stores or the chemist shops and the role played by them to run the hospital is very crucial/important. So basically let’s see what Qualifications required for entry on first register or to start out out a drug store.
A private who has attained age of 18 years,entitled to have his name in first register on payment of prescribed fee, if he resides or carries on the business or profession of pharmacy within the state. Will have the qualifications as given below:-

The qualifications required for entry of first register.

  • A diploma/degree in pharmacy,or pharmaceutical chemistry or a chemist and druggist diploma of an Indian University, or a government or a prescribed qualification granted by an authority outside India.
  • A degree of an Indian University aside from a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical chemistry. Also is engage with the compounding of drugs in a hospital or dispensary or other place. During which drugs are regularly dispense on prescription of medical practitioners for an entire period of not but three years
  • Has passed an exam recognized as adequate by the govt for compounders and dispensers

Has not but five years experience if compounding and dispensing during a hospital or dispensary or other place. During which drugs are dispense on prescription of medical practitioners. Before the data notified by the Registration Tribunal for receipt of the appliance for the names on first register.

So, these are the requirements which has to be strictly implemented or brought in for entry on the first register. Also the requirements start a new drug store.
